Laser cutting and engraving: WOOD, PLYWOOD, LAMINATED WOOD, MULTIPLEX,
MDF and VENEER.
At WE LASERS we laser cut and engrave wood, plywood, hardboard and other wood products with high precision and quality. Laser engraving, laser marking and laser cutting can be accomplished in one session which makes the process more cost effective comparing to alternatives.
During laser cutting, both, wood and plywood chipping or other damages to the material do not occur even while cutting extremely fine contours. Unlike CNC milling machines, laser cutter produces extremely thin cut lines and allows you to cut your product almost without wasting the material. Depending on the material thickness a typical cutting gap between 0.1 and 0.4 mm. That allows laser cutting and engraving to be accomplished with high level of precision.
Depending on the material, we can laser cut up to 3/4 inch thick panels.
Some applications for laser cutting wood: architectural models, goods manufacturing, gift manufacturing, graphic imaging, packaging, prototyping, awards, signage and many others.
ACRYLIC, POLYESTER, PET/PETG, POLYETHYLENE (PE).
We can laser cut practically any shape with high precision and quality: letters, indoor/outdoor signs, a table top, or a plastic toy. Cutting edges are always polished and chipless. With our laser cutting systems we can reach high repeatability and consistent quality. Our lasers are capable of processing limpid, colored, structured and mirrored acrylics.
Some applications for laser cut plastic:
Laser cutting has become a useful and cost effective tool for many industries. Among many applications laser cutting especially suitable for architectural models, goods manufacturing, gift manufacturing, graphic imaging, packaging, prototyping and many other fields with manufacturing needs. More and more companies choose both laser cut and engraved elements for creating eye-catchy displays and signs.
We laser cut and engrave cardboard, paperboard, matboard as well as the chipboard with high quality and repeatability.
Application for laser cutting cardboard, paperboard, matboard and chipboard:
Due to its flexibility laser cutting process of these products is highly suitable for customized products and production of samples in various fields including prototyping, architecture modeling, packaging, art and many others.
In addition, laser cutting is contactless processing this characteristic makes laser cutting highly recommended for cutting printed, laminated or coated products.
We laser cut and engrave/mark:
PAPER
PAPERBOARD and TYVEK
Our lasers are perfect tools for cutting large quantities of paper products: invitations, greeting cards, brochures and other paper products.
Laser cutting is a flexible process and you always have a chance to correct your design before moving to production. If needed, we simply make changes in the file and cut a new sample within a few minutes. That makes laser cutting much more flexible and cost efficient than more traditional die cutting. It is always a huge advantage when you are dealing with large quantities of your product or if you have a limited paper source.
Some applications for laser cutting paper: architectural models, goods manufacturing, gift manufacturing, graphic imaging, packaging, paper crafts, prototyping, awards, signage.
We laser cut and engrave different types of NATURAL RUBBER and SYNTHETIC rubber.
Our laser machines are designed for fast and easy engraving and cutting different types of rubber. We laser cut and engrave practically any shape with high precision and quality.
One of the most important qualities of laser cutting textiles is that it does not damage or distort the original material. During the cutting (especially with synthetic fabric), cutting edge gets sealed and no additional work is required. This particular effect of sealing/fusing makes processing after laser cutting more efficient therefore more cost saving.
Since laser cutting process is occurring by burning some of the material on its path the minimum width/size of a shape should not be less than 1.5 mm, Otherwise, it can cause partial loss in small shapes (smaller than 1mm).
Synthetic felt (polyester) can also be marked or engraved with high precision and quality.
This technology is particularly advantageous for discreet lettering as the logos, images, letters etc. appear tone-in-tone on the engraved material. That is why colored materials are particularly suitable here as the contrasts can clearly be seen after embossed deep engraving.
Some of the advantages of laser cutting and marking textiles:
Very fast with no material distortion
No fading of the design during washing
Cutting and engraving possible in one operation
Laser-precision contours
Wear-resistant surface

Polyvinyl chloride (PVC) can be cut with high precision and quality using our non-laser cutting systems. Due to its large variety, vinyls can be used in a diverse range of applications including sign-making industry and plastic market. PVC foils also are used for decorative and labeling purposes.
We can apply PVC foils on to plastic before cutting, creating a huge variety of finishes for your product.
Granite or stone can be engraved/marked with high precision and quality. No further processing or cleaning is required after laser engraving process.
Laser engraving can be done with up to 1200 dpi quality. Our laser cutter software allows us to engrave vector files (ai, dxf and others) without rasterizing them as well as jpg, png, or other non vector file formats.
Rock or stone is a solid aggregate of minerals. It includes stone types such as marble, granite or natural stone. Smooth, polished and flat surfaces are ideally suited for laser engraving, laser marking and laser lettering.
Laser engraving and marking granite or stone can be used in an interior or exterior decoration. It istypical for decorating kitchen surfaces (floors, counters) or individual decoration projects (portraits, logos, letters).
Laser cutting both natural and synthetic leather is a highly efficient and precise process. No damage or distortion for the original material occurs during the laser cutting.
Using traditional mechanic tools (knife-cutter) for cutting resistant tough leather causes heavy wear to the blade. As a result, the cutting quality decreases as you go and requires frequent maintenance.
The laser beam does not need to be readjusted or serviced during the production and does cuts without having direct contact with the material. As a result the high quality of your product will be consistent and more cost efficient.
Benefits of laser cutting leather:
Precise and consistent quality of cuts
No material deformation by stress-free material supply
Cutting edges without fraying
Fusing/sealing cut edges for synthetic leathers, thus no additional work required after laser cutting
Contactless laser processing
Lamination with a special masking tape can be used to eliminate even slight discoloration during laser cutting or engraving.
Natural and synthetic leathers are used in various industries such as clothing, shoe making, furniture manufacturing and others. Owing to its high precision and repeatability laser cutting has become one of the most trusted tools for these industries.
Some applications for laser cutting leather: goods manufacturing, gift manufacturing, graphic imaging, packaging, fashion.
