1. What materials do you cut?
We laser cut different types of plastic (acrylic, plexiglass, polyester, PET/PETG, PE), wood, plywood, leather, paper, cardboard, card stock and some uncommon materials. Before you make your material choice, you can always contact us and find out if this particular material is suitable for laser cutting.
2. Do you cut metal?
Currently, we do not cut metal or glass. But we can etch or engrave on the glass surface or anodized metal and stainless steel.
3. What is the maximum thickness you can laser cut?
Depending on the material it varies from 1/2 to 3/4 in. For acrylic it is 1/2. For plywood - 3/4 in.
4. What is a vector file?
Lasers mostly can work with vector files. We can use bitmap files for laser engraving. In this case they have to be files with high quality. When it comes to the actual process of lasers cutting of different shapes we require vector files. One of the ways to recognize a bitmap from a vector file is to zoom on it. If you see pixels after you have done it - you need a vector file.
5. What is the maximum size you can laser cut?
We can process panels up to 4X8 feet as well as 63in wide fabric rolls. Although, sometimes it is better to split up the original design and cut it separately in order to prevent it from breaking. It is especially reasonable for large and thin pieces. Laser cutting is a very precise tool and after assembling separate elements there will be no gaps. We can also laser cut rolls of fabric or other flexible materials.
6. What does it cost?
Our minimum order is 150$. The price will depend on time we spend laser cutting and processing your project.
We accept all major credit cards and other common ways of accepting payments. You can write a check or stop by at our office and pay with cash.
